Objectives

Assist leaders of innovative projects sharpen their value proposition and help them create a clear plan for progress that the organization will support.

Create a cohort of entrepreneurs who will demonstrate through action how entrepreneurial practices contribute to the success of such ventures.
Approach
We applied our unique entrepreneurial sprint program that was performed in its entirety remotely and included participants from Israel, Europe and the US simultaneously.

Selection of participating venture leads was performed by the client’s project manager with the support of the Spyre team.

The participants went through several hands-on training sessions with each participant receiving tailor-made guidance for work assignments between sessions.

The first stage culminated in participants pitching their ventures to the Director of innovation with five of them receiving approval to proceed to the SMART pilot stage.

During several months of executing SMART pilots the venture leads received regular mentoring from a Spyre expert based on Spyre’s unique approach.
Outcomes
The collaboration between Siemens SW and Spyre Group resulted in the following outcomes:

All participating ventures focused their efforts on their highest ROI areas while discarding wishful thinking parts that were not receiving supportive evidence during validation.

Two pilots were able to accelerate their target completion date by 3-6 months and are currently in progress.

Certain typical bottlenecks in the ability of employees to act as entrepreneurs were identified and the innovation team is in the process of alleviating them.
