About the customer:
Leumi Bank is Israel’s oldest bank and the second-largest in size. It has always been a leader in innovation, from the first ATMs to the first digital bank. Leumi Group has 4 subsidiaries that all function in the banking realm. The bank employs over 10,000 workers and has 200 branches across the state. It also has offices overseas in places such as Luxembourg, the US, Switzerland, the UK, Mexico, Uruguay, Romania, Jersey, and China.
About the project and the challenges:
The project aimed to find solutions for existing barriers to the promotion of initiatives within the organization. For this, we re-evaluated the bank’s innovation structure while understanding the mechanisms that monitor the development processes within it. The goal was to understand which processes the organization needed to change or adapt in order to increase revenue from the innovation system. To this end, KPIs for the innovation system was set to help management track its activity.
The results of the process:
Interviews were conducted with employees as well as managers at key positions. After an in-depth examination of the innovation processes operating in the bank, a report was presented and recommendations were given to the bank’s management. In addition, an orderly and clear mechanism has been created that assists in the decision-making process and enable the identification and promotion of innovative projects with significant potential.
