Client Story: Intel
About the customer:
Intel is an American multinational corporation and technology company. It is the world’s largest and highest valued semiconductor chip manufacturer based on revenue. Intel supplies microprocessors for computer system manufacturers such as Apple, Lenovo, HP, and Dell. Intel Israel is a development and manufacturing center for Intel Corporation and employs over 12,800 employees in its 5 centers.
About the project and the challenges:
One of the main goals of the project was to take employees from different divisions and provide them with the tools to promote innovative initiatives within the organization and partnerships with the external ecosystem. Another goal was to create a network between Intel representatives and innovation leaders in government defense ministries. Lastly, KPI’s were defined for implementing innovation processes as well as exposure to the external ecosystem through tours.
The results of the process:
Following the project, an internal community of innovation leaders was established. This community started promoting innovative processes within the organization as well as initiating processes between Intel and the various government defense ministries. Also, innovation leaders were trained together with representatives from the IDF, the Israeli Air Force, and other defense organizations, some of whom conducted additional, more extensive training.
